Help For Teachers
Every year in Washington, D.C., public school teachers spend more than $3.4 million out of their own pockets on basic supplies for their classrooms. That’s outrageous.
Teachers shouldn’t have to pay to teach our kids. That’s why we started GrantEd. With a disruptive model that moves fast and runs lean, we provide quick grants for supplies, student experiences, and professional development so that teachers can focus on teaching.
A teacher uploads a one-minute video describing a need. No editing. No paperwork.
Videos are reviewed
within a month. When it
comes to education, there’s
no time to waste.
Grants of up to $500
are distributed every month
so that teachers can stay
focused on teaching.
Are you a teacher in need of a grant?
The Taste of H is the one incredible night each year when you can sample the best of H St. NE cuisine all in one place, enjoy an open bar throughout the evening, and be entertained. Proceeds from ticket sales, donations, and live auction sales go to GrantEd to fund teacher grants.
